Crowns
Crowns are typically used to restore a tooth’s function and appearance after a tooth has either fractured, had a root canal, or had extensive decay. Crowns are also used to attach bridges, cover implants, prevent a crack from becoming worse, and replace a large filling. There are three types of crowns: all porcelain, porcelain fused to metal, and all metal.
